Help Children Read Forum

Our educational forum, Help Children Read: A Short-Term Investment with Long-Term Dividends for Dallas, hosted by Communities Foundation of Texas, brought together a diverse group of key stakeholders from education, government, business, and philanthropy sectors. Dr. Roland Fryer, CEO of the Education Innovation Laboratory at Harvard University, along with Dallas' Mayor Tom Leppert, and the Dallas ISD Superintendent, Dr. Michael Hinojosa, and Earning by Learning founding director, Thelma Morris-Lindsey shared insights on the groundbreaking new study that evaluated the merits of incentive-based learning and it's potential impact on reading and academic achievement.
