Famed Children’s Illustrator, Lamberto Alvarez talks about his  book Dancing Miranda/Baila Miranda at the Annual Celebrity Guest Read

Over 50 children from local nonprofits got a chance to hear Good Morning Texas Host, Amy Vanderoef read Lamberto Alvarez’s engaging book, Dancing Miranda/Baila Miranda. This beautifully illustrated book walks children through the life of Miranda who lives out a dream of her mom’s. Later, Lamberto joins in on the fun and teaches the children how to draw. He begins with the simplest of forms and before you know it, children are giggling, the pictures are taking shape and for that moment in time they have all become little artists.

Each child from our pre-selected participating nonprofits receives a signed copy of Dancing Miranda/Baila Miranda. It’s just another great way to help children discover the joy.
